Under general direction from the Call Center Supervisor, an Accounts Payable Call Center Service Representative is responsible for receiving, monitoring, recording, processing, responding to and resolving telephone calls, voicemails, callbacks, faxes, and emails coming into the call center.

Answers phone calls from vendors, internal staff, and agency personnel regarding vendor master data issues including, but not limited to:

•Vendor registration

•Banking information and questions

•Electronic Addenda (EA)

•Invoice Payment/Status and invoice issues

•1099 and B-Notice questions/issues

•Contractor Responsibility Program (CRP) issues

•Flexible Real Estate (FRE) Lessors

•Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PENNDOT) Right of Way (ROW) vendors

Provides customer service to vendors, agency personnel and Commonwealth employees through telephone calls, e-mails, callbacks, voicemails, and faxes.

Ensures first call issue resolution. Recognizes problems and assists in developing solutions. Takes initiative to identify and resolve potentially negative consequences. For issues that cannot be resolved at the time of the call, directs the issue to the appropriate staff or supervisor for further investigation/resolution.

Serves as first point of contact for the Payable Services Call Center (PSCC) via email resource accounts and utilizes effective, courteous, respectful, professional, communication skills and proper etiquette in verbal and/or written responses. Written responses are grammatically correct and logically outlined to convey a complete message

Utilizes computer systems including: SAP, SRM, Business Warehouse, Docfinity, Verizon Virtual Call Center, and any other database or resource pertaining to the operations of the call center to thoroughly research and respond to all requests.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
Two years of experience performing bookkeeping or clerical accounting work;

or

An Associate Degree in accounting or business administration including or supplemented by six credits of accounting.
